I’m getting
a message saying I need to upgrade my JVM. What does this
mean and how do I do that?
Your JVM is the program that
manages Java for your web browser. Since Bantu Messenger is
Java-based, your JVM must be up-to-date. Bantu Messenger requires
a JVM that supports Java v1.1. In some cases you will need
to upgrade your JVM. You may obtain a JVM upgrade by downloading
and installing a new Web browser, such as the latest version
of Internet Explorer or Netscape.

Web browser must support Java and JavaScript. Also, you will
need to make sure these are enabled on your browser. To enable

firewalls and proxy servers. In many cases, Bantu Messenger
is the only way to connect to ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo!. If you
are behind a firewall and are having problems launching the
Messenger, please try waiting up to several minutes while
Bantu Messenger attempts to connect.
