Emergency Alerts for Today's Dynamic World
In today’s volatile economic and geopolitical climates,
being able to respond instantly to critical developments can
make the difference between an operation’s success or
failure; enable you to avert potentially disastrous situations;
and expedite business-critical projects.
With
Bantu Alerts, your emergency notifications are instantly and
securely received by the right individuals or groups of people.
And the Alerts can be designed to be interactive, enabling
recipients to immediately respond to, address and resolve
the issue-at-hand.
Like
the U.S. government
agencies that are rolling out Bantu’s real-time
Alert Server to improve how personnel prepare for and respond
to national emergencies, you can use Bantu to:
- Make
key personnel aware of and enable them to react to urgent
situations as they occur
-
Initiate secure collaborative sessions directly from the
alert
- Deliver
late-breaking news
- Notify
people that important status items have changed (i.e., VIP
e-mail arrived, last-minute meeting scheduled, auction bid
matched, key document ready for review, security alarm triggered
by third-party network monitoring application)
Broadest
Range of Alert Options
Bantu provides three types of alerts for different usage scenarios:
- Message
Alerts: text with links inserted, as needed
-
Pop-up Alerts: provides greater interactivity with customizable
buttons that enable recipients to immediately react to the
alert
-
Scrolling Alerts: puts all alerts into a scrolling interface
in a single, ‘always on’ window. This is ideal
for people receiving many alerts, such as network and security
administrators who continually are updated on events that
require immediate attention
With
Bantu Alert Server you can:
-
Integrate Bantu
Alerts with other applications that monitor events –
such as network management, ERP, document management, emergency
tracking—to automatically notify target users based
on criteria that you determine
- Make
Alerts interactive:
-
Enable users to immediately and easily transact with
backend systems through customized links
-
Initiate collaborative chat, videoconferencing, application
sharing and white boarding sessions to address/resolve
the event.
- Customize
alert box in advance to include action options such
as “Notify Team,” which sends alerts to
the group you identify; “Join Team Conference,”
which takes you to a persistent conference room created
for your team’s use; and “Open Action Plan,”
which links you to the document containing next steps.
-
Manually or automatically send targeted or broadcast alerts
to users
- Schedule
alerts based on pre-determined timeframes
-
Escalate alerts from one level of users to another based
on users’ online presence or the situation’s
severity, and make alerts lapse if users don’t come
online within stated timeframes
